World Cup and Wimbledon Athletes and Chiropractic

Are you watching the World Cup or Wimbledon Athletes? Did you know that Brazil’s World Cup team has a secret weapon? That secret weapon is Dr. Dallegrave D.C., a chiropractor. According to the Brazilian Football Federation, Dr. Dallegreve has been treating the Brazilian Football team at the World Cup this year. Many other World Cup teams also utilize chiropractic care for their athletes, like Italy, who brought an American chiropractor on staff with them to the World Cup.

In other sports news, Wimbledon is in its final week. Guess what many of the top players do to keep their bodies well-tuned… that’s right, they see a chiropractor! Players like Andy Murray, Roger Federer, and Novak Djokovic have all spoken about their chiropractic care. Venus Williams was quoted saying “Chiropractic gives me the flexibility I need to keep me in the game.”

Athletes and chiropractic go hand in hand. Not only do we get more bumps and bruises as we play sports, but we want to perform at our best (whether that’s on the professional stage, or on a local bowling lane). Chiropractic care is well suited to treat the minor aches, pains, sprains, and strains that come with athletics. However, it is also important to receive regular chiropractic care to stay at the top of your game. Chiropractic adjustments help to balance the body and allow for an optimally functioning nervous system, which controls all body motions in sports. Athletes around the world know this, and utilize chiropractic care regularly.
