Whats a pumpkin seed got to do with it

Coronavirus update:

Other than isolation, washing our hands, and cleaning regularly, almost no one is talking about our individual protection... our immune system. We come into contact with viruses and bacteria every day that we do not become ill from. Why is that? Our immune system. The goal here is not to downplay the seriousness of this pandemic, but rather to place a bigger emphasis on protecting you, as an individual.

If you had a bunch of pumpkin seeds in your  hand and drop them on your desk

are you likely to grow a pumpkin?

?

The answer is absolutely not, and the reason is that your desk is not a fertile environment for growing pumpkins.

So what’s this got to do with coronavirus?

The case studies of those more likely to get severely sick and die from coronavirus are showing that the virus, like these seeds needs the right environment to thrive….and that environment is much more likely to be an unhealthy immunocompromised  body….

General health recommendations apply here. Getting regular exercise, plenty of sleep, drinking lots of water, and eating more fruits and vegetables are all things that can help keep you healthy and give your immune system its best chance of fighting off any pathogen, and creating an environment that the coronavirus doesn't like. The last key... stress. Stress may have the biggest acute impact on your immune system. For now, pick one or two things you can focus on to stay healthy!
